Kinsei Stars
For the 1947 season, Goldstar were renamed the Kinsei Stars, despite Kinsei's meaning of "gold star" making the team's name the "Gold Star Stars". The name change did not help the team's fortunes as they placed eighth in 1947 and seveth in 1948. The team was bought by the Daiei Motion Picture Company prior to the 1949 season and remaned the Daiei Stars.
