Biographical Information

Sebastián Lanza was the youngest position player on the Honduran national team in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier; only José Núñez was younger among their pitchers. He replaced Moises Mena in left in their opener against Nicaragua and struck out against Goffrey Bennett his first time up. He finished the event 3-for-7 with a walk, run and RBI and had 3 putouts in the outfield for the second-place finishers. In the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier, he was 1 for 4 with a run and had 4 putouts and one assist in right field. His hit was off Luis Machuca of champion Panama.
