Biographical Information[edit]

Sang-woo Seo played in the Korea Baseball Organization and for the South Korea national baseball team.

Seo was drafted by the LG Twins in the 9th round of the 2012 KBO draft, and he went 0-for-9 in his first season. He then missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he also represented Korea when they won Silver in the 2013 East Asian Games. Seo hit .340/.386/.503 in 58 games in 2015, and he had a .252/.394/.405 batting line in 56 games in 2016. However, he was bothered by his terrible defense, and he only played 10 games in 2017. He hit .290/.393/.377 in 2017, but he still couldn't improve his defense, and he only got 21 at-bats in 2018. Seo announced his retirement after the 2018 season.

Overall, Seo hit .283/.376/.422 with 108 hits and 13 homers in 6 seasons in the KBO.
