Tuneros de San Luis

Members of the Mexican League sporadically for decades (1946-1952, 1986-1991 and 2004-2006), San Luis Potosi returned to the Liga in 2004 with the Tuneros. It had been 13 years since the city had placed a team in the circuit. No team from San Luis Potosi has ever won a Mexican League title. A team using the name also played in the Mexican Center League from 1960 through 1962 and again in 1971. The most recent edition moved to Chihuahua, Chihuahua in 2007 as the Dorados de Chihuahua.
