Domingo Santana was a second baseman for six seasons in the Mexican League who was later a manager for over a decade.

Santana was with Agrario de México in 1937, the first season for which Mexican League statistics are available; he went 21 for 66 with a walk, two doubles and five steals. He was with the Mexican national team in the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games. In 1939, he hit .253/.280/.304 for the Indios de Anáhuac. He did not play in 1940-1941, when the league was heavily populated by Negro League and Cuban players. He did not play in 1943, then split 1944 between Mexico City and the Veracruz Blues (.268/.369/.348). He saw little action for the Tuneros de San Luis Potosi (1 for 4) in 1946 and the Jalisco Charros (2 for 4) in 1951. Overall, he had a .275/.343/.333 batting line in 224 LMB games.

Santana managed the Dorados de Chihuahua for part of the 1952 Arizona-Texas League season then spent most of the 1960s managing in the Mexican Center League.
