Felman signed with the Detroit Tigers in 2002 and was in one of their Latin Academies; it is unclear if he played minor league ball or not. He hit .273/.407/.364 with two runs and two RBI for Ecuador in the 2013 Bolivarian Games, fielding .952 as a CF/1B; Ecuador won Bronze. He was Ecuador's oldest player in the 2022 South American Championship but was still a key player, hitting cleanup and starting in right field. The 38-year-old hit .200/.429/.200 with 3 HBP, 4 runs and 4 RBI in five games, handling six putouts in the field. All four RBI came in their rout of Bolivia. He tied Danyells García and Gustavo Landin for the team lead in runs and tied Brian Letamendi for their most RBI. He tied Susumu Yoza for the tourney lead in times plunked.
