Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Ryan Pepiot made his major league debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in May of 2022. He made 9 appearances at the big league level that season, including 7 starts, and went 3-0, 3.47. He had been a third-round selection by the Dodgers in the 2019 amateur draft, out of Butler University. In 2023, he made the Dodgers' starting rotation out of spring training as the team's fifth starter but was injured before he could make his first outing, going on the injured list with a left oblique strain on March 30th. As a result, he could only make his first appearance for the Dodgers on August 19th, being called up from AAA to act as the 27th man during a doubleheader. On September 6th, he had a great start against the Miami Marlins, being perfect through the first 6 2/3 innings before Josh Bell hit a single up the middle to break the spell. Ryan retired one more batter and left the game, receiving credit for a 10-0 win.
