Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Davies won over 800 games as a college coach.
Davies played soccer, squash, basketball and baseball in college. He was the school MVP in both squash and baseball as a senior in 1958. He was head coach of Adelphi, his alma mater, from 1964-2003. He won 12 Knickerbocker Conference titles with Adelphi and took the team to the 1993 Division II College World Series, 1996 Division II College World Series, 1997 Division II College World Series and 1999 Division II College World Series. He was 802-407-1 going into 2002. Players he coached included Joe Sambito and Dom Gatti.
