Biographical Information[edit]
Romain Martinez-Scott plays both IF and OF in the French Division Elite. After a few seasons with the Lions de Savigny-sur-Orge, he joined the Templiers de Sénart in 2014.
He played for the French national team in the 2005 European Championship, going 3 for 8 with a homer, two steals, three runs and two RBI while making one error in five chances; he backed up Luc Piquet at 2B and saw a little action in the outfield. Despite being a backup, he had France's lone homer of the tourney, taking Nick Stuifbergen of the Netherlands deep.
