Biographical Information

Roland Nazar was manager of the East Bay Lumberjacks of the Pacific Association during the inaugural 2013 season. Nazar managed the Lumberjacks to their first professional win 6-5 against Na Koa Ikaika Maui on June 25th. Originally, the Lumberjacks were scheduled to be a travel team for the 2013 season including travel to Maui and Hilo. On July 5th, the league announced full admission of the Lumberjacks, who were told they would play a full schedule during the second half of the season. Despite having just five home games that year, the Lumberjacks under Nazar were competitive.

After the 2013 season, Nazar stayed with the renamed Pittsburg Diamonds as hitting coach under manager Aaron Miles.

In 2011, Nazar was named hitting coach for City College of San Francisco.
