Biographical Information

Rick van de Post debuted in the Hoofdklasse with the 2011 ADO Lakers (0-1, 15.43, 6 H, 5 BB in 2 1/3 IP). He was 1-2 with a save and 9.55 ERA in 2012, allowing a .348 average and walking 28 in 27 1/3 IP. In 2013, he was 0-3 with a 8.21 ERA, 47 walks and 97 hits in 57 innings over 30 games for the miserable Lakers (2-40). He led the league in games pitched (5 more than runner-up Pim Walsma), wild pitches (17) and hit batsmen (12).
