Biographical Information[edit]

Reynaldo Valle pitched for 10 seasons in the minor leagues.

Valle debuted in 1971 with the Ciudad Mante Caneros, going 1-5 with a 5.19 ERA. In 1972, he pitched for the Naranjos (7-5, 3.60) and made his Mexican League debut with the Alijadores de Tampico (3 R in 3 IP). He was 5th in the Mexican Center League in ERA that year. In '73, the lefty was 2-7 with a save and a 4.15 ERA for the Ciudad Mante Azucareros. He struck out 55 in 52 innings. After not pitching in 1974, he returned in 1975 with Tampico, allowing four runs in two innings. He split 1976 between the Alijadores and the Cafeteros de Cordoba, with a combined 2.25 ERA and no decisions; he walked 19 in 20 innings.

In 1977, Valle was 5-3 with four saves and a 3.60 ERA for the Pericos de Puebla despite 29 walks in 45 innings. He split 1978 between the Guanajuato Tuzos (4-4, 1.48) and Puebla (2 Sv, 2.19). The veteran was 6th in the Mexican Center League in ERA. In 1979, he toiled for Puebla and the Leones de Yucatan, wit ha combined record of 0-1, 3.00 and 16 walks in 18 innings. In 1980, he was with Puebla and the Truchas de Toluca, with a 2-4 record and a 6.00 ERA. he ended up in 1981 with the Piratas de Campeche, allowing two runs in one inning.

Overall, Valle was 7-8 with 8 saves and a 4.02 ERA in 94 Mexican League games (3 starts). He was 16-21 in the Mexican Center League.
