Naranjos (MCL)

The Naranjos club played two seasons in the Mexican Center League. Their first season, 1972, they were 23-46, ahead of only the Zacatecas Tuzos. Their 9,448 attendance was second-worst. Reynaldo Valle (7-5, 3.60) was 5th in the league in ERA while C Bartolo Mojica (.274/.354/.374) won All-Star honors. In 1973, they were again second-worst at 26-43, ahead of the Durango Alacranes. They scored a league-low 2009 runs while allowing 287. Attendance remained steady at 9,321. They had no All-Stars that year.
