Biographical Information[edit]

Through 2019, Reymin Guduan has pitched three seasons in the major leagues with the Houston Astros.

Guduan was born in San Pedro de Macoris, San Pedro de Macoris, where so many players have come from, and pitched primarily in rookie leagues from 2010-2014. In 2015 he moved up rapidly from A ball to A+ to AA, and after a few games with the AA Corpus Christi Hooks came to the highest minor level. He has been at the AAA level or the majors ever since.

Reymin came up for 22 games with the Astros in 2017, three games in 2018 and seven games in 2019, all in relief. In general, while he has gotten strikes, he has walked a lot of batters and given up a lot of hits.

He was released by the Astros in 2019, and in spring training of 2020 was a non-roster invitee with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers were giving him a good look before spring training was postponed, with Guduan getting into six games as a reliever.
