Biographical Information[edit]
Brother of Mike Knode, Ray Knode played four years at first base for the Cleveland Indians in the 1920's.
Knode was born in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland betweeen 1917-20. His brother was there before him. Knode was also at the University of Michigan in 1922, and played for Waynesboro in the Blue Ridge League in 1922.
After his years in the majors, he played for Mobile and Newark in 1927.
