Biographical Information[edit]
Kenneth Thomson "Mike" Knode played 42 games for the 1920 St. Louis Cardinals.
17 of his 42 games were in the field, and there he played both outfield and infield.
He is listed as attending the University of Maryland from 1913-16 and the University of Michigan from 1918-20. Mike was team captain in 1919. His brother Ray "Bob" Knode later played first base for Michigan and was also at Maryland, before playing in the majors.
After baseball he became a pediatrician. [1]
Oddly, he was called "Mike" even though his formal name was Kenneth. His brother was called "Ray" even though his formal name was Robert.
