Biographical Information[edit]
Ratchanon Khrueaprommin was listed as an outfielder for the Thai national team in the 2023 Asian Championship, his debut with them, but his only action came as a pitcher. He relieved Anuchat Chanto in the bottom of the 7th with a 10-4 deficit, no outs and one on against the Philippines. He hit John Matanguihan then Kyle Rodrigo Villafana Jr. flew out. He plunked Alfredo de Guzmán then walked Iggy Escano to make it 11-4. Phoomwut Wutthikorn then relieved and let the inherited runners score to end the game due to the mercy rule. He was 6th in the event in highest ERA; the only ones higher were Adam Musa and four pitchers who did not record an out (Sitthichok Aunmueang, Renato Samuel Jr., Syed Ali Shah and Chanto). [1]
