Biographical Information[edit]
Ramon Armendariz began his umpiring career in the minor leagues in 1995. He has worked in the Arizona League, Northwest League, Midwest League, California League, Texas League, Dominican Winter League, Venezuelan Winter League and Pacific Coast League. From 2000-2007, he umped in the PCL. Armendariz worked the 2006 World Baseball Classic. From 2004-2007, he was a substitute umpire in the major leagues, working a total of 61 games.
In 2008, Armendariz became an umpire in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. He worked the 2009 Taiwan Series.
