Biographical Information

Rafael García won Gold with the Dominican national team in the 2022 Bolivarian Games. He pitched one game, starting against host and Silver Medal winner Colombia. He walked Luis Castro and Gerson Jiménez in a scoreless first, then went 1-2-3 in the second with a K of Keiner Manrique. Entering the third, he had a 7-0 lead but then struggled as Rafael Romero singled, Jonathan Lozada hit a two-out homer and the next four batters reached (one via error) to make it 7-3 before Edwin Adon took over and escaped further harm.
