Founded in 2007 as one of the inaugural teams of the Israel Baseball League, The Ra'anana Express play their home games at Yarkon Sports Complex in Petach Tikva, Israel. The Express share the Yarkon Sports Complex with the Petach Tikva Pioneers.

The Ra'anana Express played their inaugural game against the Tel Aviv Lightning at Yarkon Sports Complex on June 25, 2007. The Express fell 10-4 over the course of 7 innings at Yarkon. The following night, in their second game, The Express achieved several firsts in the league. Express pitcher Esequier Pie threw the IBL's first no-hitter. Following the league's unusual 7 innings of an IBL game, the Express were tied with the Modi'in Miracle 0-0. According to Israel Baseball League rules, the game went into a Home Run Derby to break the tie. The Express emerged victorious from the Home Run Derby when in the second round, Second Baseman Scott Feller hit three home runs. Although the Express won the derby with a score of 4-3, a homerun derby victory is only worth one point in an IBL game, making the final score of the game 1-0. Some controversy quickly arose over the legality of Feller's bat. By the next morning the Modi'in Miracle had made the Israel Baseball League's first appeal to overturn a victory.
