Biographical Information

Po-Jen Yang played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Yang represented Taiwan in the 2004 Haarlem Baseball Week. He was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 7th round of the 2004 CPBL Draft, and he hit .302/.444/.413 while leading the CPBL minor league in OBP in 2005. Yang then had a .236/.344/.315 batting line with the big club in 2006, and he hit .264/.304/.264 in 2007. However, he slumped to .182/.250/.182 in 2008, then he was involved in a game-fixing scandal. The league banned him for life after the 2008 season.

Overall, Yang had hit .241/.329/.293 with 46 hits in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
