Biographical Information[edit]
Pitsinee Wongkittipong was on the first Thai women's national team, having previously represented them in softball. In the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she replaced Puntaree Khamhintang at short in their opener against India. Her lone time up, she drew a walk from Reshma Shivaji Punekar then advanced on a balk and a steal but was stranded in a 9-8 loss. Their other game was against Malaysia. She started that game on the hill but had a rough first as Siti Nurfarahin Rahim singled, Ilina Salleh was plunked, Siti Noor Aishah Samin hit into a force and a balk and a wild pitch let in one run. She walked Nurul Emilia Abdulrazi and Nurul Ain Izzatie Yusof. A single by Hawanis Aqmar Ayob scored a run but a runner was out on the play. She then walked Aisyah Nabilah Muhamad Suod but Nurul Nasyitah Mohd Zaki hit into an inning-ending force. After Thailand scored twice off Nur Afrina Azman Ali to cut it to 3-2, she allowed a leadoff single in the second to Nur Lailatul Fatihah Mohd Rizal then was relieved by Sirapat Kasornsuwan, who would shut out Malaysia for the next five as Thailand would rally to win. Wongkittipong did her share after staying in the game at short, getting three hits off Azman Ali to lead Thailand's attack on the day. [1]
