Biographical Information[edit]

Philip Incaviglia played two years in the minors. His grandfather Tom Incaviglia, father Tony Incaviglia and brother Thomas Incaviglia also played in the minor leagues and his uncle Pete Incaviglia was a major leaguer.

Philip hit .395 in his high school career. He hit .350 with a school-record 19 doubles as a sophomore at Monterey Peninsula College. He transferred to UT Arlington and batted .248/.318/.268 as a junior and .224/.267/.231 as a senior. He then signed with the Laredo Lemurs for 2012 (the team was managed by his uncle, who had previously managed Philip's brother). He hit only .115/.169/.115 in 70 plate appearances over 30 games in 2012; faster than his uncle, he stole 4 bases in 4 tries and scored 13 runs. He was only 2 for 25 with a walk for Laredo in 2013, backing up at 2B, LF and C.
