Biographical Information[edit]

Paulo Nóris has been on the Brazilian national team. He is the son of Ernesto Noris. [1]

He hit .350/.409/.400 in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, going 1-0 with a 0.62 ERA and playing short often (he fielded .962). He went seven shutout innings of two-hit ball to beat Panama. [2] In the 2024 South American Championship, he debuted against Chile, replacing Osvaldo Carvalho at short and drawing a walk from Milovan Troncoso. He did not wind up with an at-bat in the tourney. He also pitched once, starting versus Ecuador. He struck out the first batter he faced, Johan León. He wound up going four innings, allowing six hits, a walk and two runs (both earned) while striking out three in a duel with Keiver Cordero. Joao Marostica took over and got the win. [3]
