Biographical Information[edit]
Paul Provas joined the Chicago White Sox as a scout in 1992 and still held that role as of 2011. He signed Kip Wells, Joe Crede, Brian West, Boone Logan, Ryan Sweeney, Ray Liotta, Brandon Allen, Carlos Torres, Gary Majewski, Dwayne Pollok and Chris Young. From 1983 to 1992, he worked as an area scout for the Chicago Cubs, signing Jessie Hollins.
