Biographical Information

Pitcher Kip Wells managed to stay at the major league level, and be treated primarily as a starter, for 9 years despite having only one season with an ERA under 3.50. He also had seasons of 17 and 18 losses, both league-leading totals and also led the National League in walks one season and the American League in wild pitches another year.

Wells became pitching coach with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2016-2017.
