Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Pat Doyle played in the Cincinnati Reds minor league system from 2010 to 2013. He later pitched in independent ball.

Taken by the Reds in the 24th round of the 2010 amateur draft, Doyle began his professional career with the Billings Mustangs, going 4-0 with a 2.84 ERA in 18 relief appearances and striking out 39 batters in 31 2/3 innings. He posted a 4.24 ERA in 40 games between the Dayton Dragons, Carolina Mudcats and Triple-A Louisville Bats in 2011 and struck out 100 batters in 85 innings. In 2012, he had a 5.73 ERA in 39 games for the Bakersfield Blaze. He had a 3.41 ERA and 11 saves in 52 games between the Blaze and Pensacola Blue Wahoos in 2013.

After being let go by the Reds following the 2013 campaign, he signed on with the Kansas City T-Bones of the independent American Association.
