Coco was released by the Blue Jays after he stole money from fellow prospect Diegomar Markwell and signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2003, playing with the AAA Indianapolis Indians, where he went 10-9 with a 4.80 ERA in 27 games. The Montreal Expos signed him in 2004, in which he played for the AAA Edmonton Trappers, going 1-0 with a 12.27 ERA in 4 games.
