Parkview Field in Fort Wayne, IN, is the home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the San Diego Padres' High-A Midwest League farm team. Parkview Health bought naming rights before its 2009 opener, which sold out in 30 minutes, and later extended the deal through 2023.

In 1992, the Kenosha Twins were looking to move just as Fort Wayne went looking for a team. The Summit City threw together Memorial Stadium, and the K-Twins moved in as the Fort Wayne Wizards.

The old ballpark was a product of haste making waste, though, and just 13 years later a downtown revitalization plan included a state-of-the-art stadium. The city hired leading baseball stadium architect HOK Sport (now Populous) to design it.

Did it revitalize the city? Fourteen years later, then-Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner called it "the epitome of what Minor League Baseball can do in a city."

MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization expanded existing standards for stadiums hosting affiliated teams. The city of Fort Wayne agreed to fund $1.1 million to fund the necessary upgrades, which will be done during the 2023-2024 off-season.
