Biographical Information[edit]
Noella Alverson pitched and played outfield in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1951 to 1954.
She was used sparingly with the Peoria Redwings in 1951. In 1952, she went 3-4 with a 3.11 ERA in 81 innings for the Battle Creek Belles, while hitting .169 with no home runs and two RBI in 59 at-bats. With the Muskegon Belles in 1953, Alverson went 3-9 with a 5.10 ERA in 97 frames; she hit .144 with no home runs and four RBI at the dish. In her final season, spent with the Fort Wayne Daisies, Alverson went 9-10 with a 6.05 ERA in 125 innings while hitting .246 with two home runs and 15 RBI in 118 at-bats.
Overall, she went 15-23 with a 4.96 and hit .195 with two home runs and 21 RBI.
