NAIA
(Redirected from National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics)
The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) is a college sports governing body. Unlike the larger NCAA the NAIA is built for much smaller schools. The organization lost many of its member schools in the early seventies when the NCAA added the Division II and Division III designations. The NAIA held only 287 member schools for the 2007-2008 school year, and was down to 247 schools in the 2023-2024 school year.
Its baseball championship is decided in the NAIA College World Series
