The Missouri College Athletic Union existed from the 1924-1925 school year through the 1970-1971 school year. The conference was formed from privates schools leaving the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association. The Heart of America Athletic Conference was formed from the M.C.A.U. schools after its demise.
