Biographical Information[edit]
Naoya Mochizuki played for Toyota in the Industrial League after High School. [1] He represented Japan in the 2022 Asian Games as a LF/DH. Mochizuki debuted against the Philippines, drew a walk and hit a single against Junmar Diarao. He then went 2-for-3 with a 2 RBI single and a single against Thor Hue of Laos. He was 0-for-3 against South Korea, and being struck out in all three of his at-bats. He didn't appear in the Bronze Medal Game, and won the Bronze as Japan beat China. [2]
