Biographical Information[edit]

Mutt Wilson was a pitcher who had a cup of coffee at age 24 in 1920 from September 11 to September 18 with the Detroit Tigers. He was 1-1 with one complete game in 2 games started, 4 strikeouts, 5 walks and 0 shutouts in 13 innings pitched with an ERA of 3.46 and a WHIP of 1.308 in 3 games.

Wilson served in the U.S. Army during World War I (BN). He worked for the Seaboard Airline Railroad. He died at age 66 in Leesburg, FL from encephalitis on August 3, 1962 and is buried at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg.
