Muscle Shoals, AL

Muscle Shoals is located in northern Alabama, on the south shore of the Tennessee River, next to Sheffield, AL and Tuscumbia, AL, with which it forms a Tri-Cities area. Across the river lies the larger city of Florence, AL. Muscle Shoals is best known for its recording studio, which was particularly influential in the 1960s and 1970s popular music scene.
