Northwest-Shoals Community College was formed from a 1993 merger of Northwest Alabama Community College in Phil Campbell and Shoals Community College in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The school cut all athletic programs at the end of the 2010-2011 school year. Athletics returned to campus in 2022-2023 and baseball was reinstated at the same time.
