Biographical Information[edit]
Min-jae Choi was picked by the SK Wyverns in the 4th round of the 2013 KBO draft. He had not yet played in the Korea Baseball Organization when he made the South Korean national team for the 2017 Asian Championship. He hit .263/.286/.474 but with 6 RBI and 7 runs in 6 games. He tied Min-hyeok Kim and Sang-chul Moon for third on the team in runs. He had 13 putouts in the outfield without an error. In the Bronze Medal Game, he replaced Min-seop Song in center and went 2 for 3 with a steal, two runs and two RBI in a 15-0 romp of the Philippines.
