Biographical Information

Min-chul Keum debuted in the Korea Baseball Organization with the 2005 Doosan Bears, going 0-3 with a 4.73 ERA in 39 games. He went 3-2 with a 4.66 ERA in 2006, then 1-4 with a 3.97 ERA in 53 outings in '07. In 2008, he had a 2-0, 2.28 record in 44 games, allowing only one home run in 59 1/3 IP.

Keum fell to 7-2, 4.43 in 2009 with 61 walks in 83 1/3 IP. He was then traded with cash to the Seoul Heroes for fellow left-hander Hyun-seung Lee.
