Seoul Heroes

The Seoul Heroes were formed in 2009 when the Woori company withdrew its financial backing of the Woori Heroes. They finished 6th at 60-72-1. Doo-sung Hwang (8-3, 9 Sv, 3.51) was their top hurler. The offense was very balanced with good performances by RF Ji-man Song (.289/.384/.521, 22 HR), LF Doug Clark (.290/.376/.504, 24 HR, 90 RBI), CF Taek-keun Lee (.311/.408/.467, 43 SB), SS Jung-ho Kang (.286/.349/.508, 23 HR) and DH Cliff Brumbaugh (.245/.371/.484, 27 HR, 86 RBI). They became the Nexen Heroes in 2010.
