Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Mick Pageler was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 15th round of the 1996 amateur draft. He made his debut that summer with the Bellingham Giants, going 2-0 with a 1.57 ERA and 12 saves. The following year, he recorded 29 saves for the Bakersfield Blaze. After the 1997 campaign, he was dealt to the Florida Marlins along with Joe Fontenot and Mike Villano for Robb Nen.
Pageler played three seasons in the Marlins organization and then spent 2001 with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the independent Northern League. He played part of 2002 in the St. Louis Cardinals organization and then returned to the Northern League, pitching for the Lincoln Saltdogs through 2003.
