Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Mike Villano was was drafted in the 24th round by the San Francisco Giants in the 1994 amateur draft and played pro baseball for nine seasons, including six years at the AAA level. He was traded with Joe Fontenot and Mike Pageler for Robb Nen on November 18, 1997.
Villano was an assistant coach at Oakland University in 2003, and at Central Michigan University in 2004-2009. He became head coach at Western Illinois University in 2010. Villano resigned in August 2012 to accept a job in medical sales.
