Biographical Information

Mike Gaule made his only appearance in a major league game on June 15, 1889 as a member of the Louisville Colonels of the American Association against the Baltimore Orioles. Two other players also made their only major league appearance for Louisville in that game, John Traffley and Walter Fisher. All three were members of the Orioles' reserve team, and Gaule and Fisher had previously been teammates in Cumberland, MD.
