Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Flynn, born in Ireland, played one game in the American Association during its last year. Flynn played catcher for the pennant-winning Boston Reds in 1891, whose regular catcher was Morgan Murphy.
Flynn, one of the youngest players in the league, lived roughly another 50 years but never again appeared in the major leagues. He ran a bowling alley for many years.
