Biographical Information[edit]
Miguel Lara pitched for the Bolivian national team that won Bronze in the 2009 Bolivarian Games. He was also with Bolivia for the 2011 South American Championship. He was the top Bolivian pitcher in the 2013 Bolivarian Games. He was 0-2 with a 4.76 ERA for the winless team, losing to Peru and Ecuador. He tied Marco Davalos for the team lead with three games pitched and had the best ERA of any Bolivian hurler to pitch more than one inning. He walked 8, fanned 7 and allowed 12 hits in 11 1/3 innings.
Elviz Lara (presumably his brother as they are both Lara Quiroz) was a teammate in the 2013 Bolivarian Games.
