Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Johns has played, coached and managed in the minors and coached in the majors.
Johns was taken by the Colorado Rockies in the 19th round of the 1997 amateur draft, out of Tulane University. He hit .232/.263/.318 with 29 errors in 62 games as a middle infielder for the Portland Rockies that year. In 1998, he batted .192/.222/.269 as a backup infielder with the Asheville Tourists. He ended his playing career with the 1999 Allentown Ambassadors at .226/.248/.352.
