Biogrpahical Information[edit]

Pitcher Matt Reeves was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 4th round of the January phase of the 1978 amateur draft. Reeves pitched in the Dodgers chain through 1980, reaching the class A Lodi Dodgers.

On March 30, 1981, Reeves was traded by the Dodgers to the Minnesota Twins with Mickey Hatcher and Kelly Snider for Ken Landreaux. He pitched in A ball for the Visalia Oaks in 1981, then returned to the Dodger organization in 1982. He retired after that season, having never risen above A ball.
