Biographical Information[edit]
Matías Pérez has played for the Argentinian national team.
Going 0 for 1 in college in the US in 2021, he then returned to Argentina. He debuted for Argentina's senior national team in the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier, their lone newcomer. His first game came versus Peru, hitting 8th and playing DH. He was retired by Marco Castellano his first time up. Entering the finale, he was 0 for 5 with a walk, run and a RBI. He got the tournament's last hit, though. Pinch-hitting for Matías Robles, he singled off Manuel Campos but was erased on a double play as Argentina fell to Panama. [1]
