Biographical Information[edit]
Masooma Basharat played all three outfield spots and pitched for the Pakistani women's national team in the 2017 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. She went 0-for-3 at the plate and did almost all her pitching in a blowout loss to champion Japan. She allowed 19 runs (14 earned) on 20 hits and 3 walks in 4 1/3 IP over two pitching outings (4 of the innings versus Japan). She had the worst ERA of any qualifier, 8.62 behind Ayesha Ejaz. She was 4th in hits allowed (between Shweta Das and Yik-Shan Hung), tied Sadia Bibi for 4th in runs allowed and was 4th in earned runs (between Das and Rupashi Lenka). [1]
