Biographical Information[edit]
Rupashi Lenka made the Indian women's national team for the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup. She played one game, playing right field against champion Japan. She grounded out against Mirai Araki and Nana Sasanuma and did not handle a chance in the field. [1] In the 2017 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she was India's oldest player by five years ahead of #2 Payal Dundekar; the 33-year-old was 0 for 3 and went 0-1 with a 12.41 ERA, losing to Hong Kong's Tak-Kwan Fan. While three Pakistani hurlers had higher ERAs among the qualifiers, she allowed the most hits (25, one more than Sadia Bibi) and tied Shweta Das for the most runs allowed (21). She was 7th in IP (7 1/3), 4th in earned runs (13, between Masooma Basharat and Das) and tied for 9th in K (3). [2]
