Pitcher Mason Pelio was the Cincinnati Reds 12th round pick in the 2021 amateur draft; his signing bonus was $125,000. He didn't begin his professional career until 2022, making 2 starts and posting a 0.00 ERA for the ACL Reds. He began 2023 with the Single-A Daytona Tortugas.
